I was recently hearing a lot about a Madras High Court’s verdict that went viral on the internet and people making fun about that.
It was until recently that I actually checked about it on the internet and learnt what the whole hulla-hoo was about.
According to the judgement:
“Any unmarried who has completed 21 years of age and an unmarried woman who has completed 18 years, have acquired the freedom of choice guaranteed by the Constitution. “Consequently, if any couple choose to consummate their sexual cravings, then that act becomes a total commitment with adherence to all consequences that may follow, except on certain exceptional considerations.”
I am not sure what the judge has in his mind while giving this judgement, but it does have given all internetarrattis food of thought enough to fill the web-space with more kilobytes and megabytes about Marriage!
Here is a cartoon that I saw on one of the blogs which I quit liked and would like to share with all.
Though the complete judgement is still not out, but what are your views on this new judgement? Any more perspectives to this?
