Hahhahhaha…Let me laugh it out loud. Hahhahhaha. I know you must be wondering why am I laughing so loud. Arey, nothing much yar, I am just not able to control my laughter. Can you believe I am trying to write about something that I am most incapable of. HAhhahhhaha…hehhehe.

Anyways. Let me still try it out. So, let me start out by telling what our best pal, the Wikipedia, thinks about this. Here is what it told me about ‘Feelings‘:

“The word was first used in the English language to describe the physical sensation of touch through either experience or perception. The word is also used to describe experiences, other than the physical sensation of touch, such as “a feeling of warmth”. In psychology, the word is usually reserved for the conscious subjective experience of emotion. Phenomenology and heterophenomenology are philosophical approaches that provide some basis for knowledge of feelings. Many schools of psychotherapy depend on the therapist achieving some kind of understanding of the client’s feelings, for which methodologies exist. Some theories of interpersonal relationships also have a role for shared feelings or understanding of another person’s feelings.

Perception of the physical world does not necessarily result in a universal reaction among receivers, but varies depending on one’s tendency to handle the situation, how the situation relates to the receiver’s past experiences, and any number of other factors. Feelings are also known as a state of consciousness, such as that resulting from emotions, sentiments or desires.”

In a nut-shell, even Wikipedia didn’t know what to write.

So, what is are feelings? Why do people feel? Why do people hesitate or are unable of expressing their feelings. I mean man, if you someone is alone or angry or feels liking for someone, why does he / she fails to express himself / herself to the other person?

I think I can tell (I know I am not explaining what ‘Feelings’ are. Even I don’t know what they are). Let me take an example. Assume that you have a very good friend (both of you can be of any gender, that is hardly a concern). You believe in that person so much that he /she (let me use ‘He’ at places) is becomes a very important part in your life. And, even of that person, you are a very important part of life. You both trust each other to no extent, take each others’ advices, suggestions, are frank with each other and have been sharing everything.

Now, one fine day, a situation comes where your friend tells you something and is talking (read – cribbing) about something, and you very much agree with it. You are all with him and have great concern for that person. But, you do tell him that he is wrong at one thing (or a few maybe). Lo ji, kar di na apne sabse bari galti [huh! You did the made the biggest mistake of your life]. How dare you were ‘not with him’ at the time when he needed you the most!? Tum saale kabhi sath nahi nibhate [Bloody! You never give support when required].

I hope I don’t need to declare prizes for asking what I meant by giving you this small example. Kya hua akhirkar, usko laga ki tum kabhi uske sath nahi hote. Tum jo bhi uske achhe ke liye usse suna rahe thhe, uski lagg gayi. [So, finally what did it lead to, the other person thought you are never with him. Whatever you were telling that person, for his benefit, got fcuked up!]

Ab kya karoge, ye hi na ke tum ab se frank hona chhor doge. [What will you do now, you will stop being frank with that person].

So the moral of the story is that such events reduces your belief in expression of feelings. ou start believing that if the person is not able to take frankness with a sporty spirit, then there is no use of showing the frankness. Also, it is about understanding and trust. That all goes off.

Anyways, why I am boring you all with such things. Will try and post some interesting post next time. Till that time, have a greate time guys.
